Curious about the impact of gender & language? Want to incorporate best modern practices to foster inclusivity? Look no further! Join a safe space, and let's look at the whys and the hows of challenging subconscious assumptions about gender, and the influence of word choice. We will also tackle unintended biases that creep their way in to interactions with the different sexes.

Session Objectives:

Be able to distinguish between Sex-Assigned at Birth; Gender identity; and, Gender Expression.
Develop an understanding of how language (semantics) can grow or diminish inclusivity at school.
