Are you wanting to allow students the freedom to ask and answer their own questions in your classroom? Are you wanting to implement inquiry into your units but are not where to start? Are you looking to challenge accelerated learners and engage students in content? This session will take a hands on approach into understanding how to develop inquiry based learning in your classroom. You will explore the inquiry design model and understand how to craft compelling and supporting questions that will walk students through the inquiry process. You will leave prepared to implement inquiry into your classroom, whether you teach Kindergarten or 11th grade.

Session Objectives:

Understand the how's why's of inquiry based learning.
Use the inquiry design model to develop effective inquiry based lessons.
