This session will introduce educators to the four main categories of behavioral functioning. Participants will gain an understanding of behavior as communication and the appropriate tools to gaining insight into what maintains behaviors and how to consider intervening. Also, participants will learn tips & strategies for tracking behaviors during intervention. Resources that will be provided to participants include: ABC charts, functional behavior assessment tools, and useful websites/webinars.Session Objectives 1. Understanding the functions of behavior 2. Identify systems for tracking behavior interventions
