As a middle school math and science teacher for over ten years, Ms. Sarah Martin knows the value of humor, patience, and creativity in the classroom. She believes in the importance of finding context for concepts, making connections to each group of students’ interests, and teaching student-skills that empower individuals to take ownership for their learning. She has had the opportunity to teach at both small and large schools, private and public, as well as startup charters and well established institutions. A California native, she most recently has been working in Alexandria, Egypt at the oldest English school in Africa, and is now teaching at Seoul Foreign School.
